Mobile and web technology has greatly improved the field data collection process for virtually all departments needing to access the field data. By having easy access to data and easy deployment methods, crews today are able to react more quickly to changing priorities and provide a higher level of customer service. This has allowed companies to get rid of paper-based forms, plus upload and download project data digitally. The presenter will use case studies to demonstrate how companies have been able to take advantage of the web and mobile technology to promote data sharing across departments, which ultimately will save their projects time and money.
