Map Middle East is an international platform designed for building networks to enable g-lateral ties in the Middle East region for geospatial community which aims to look into many aspects of this technology by bringing in the geospatial experts from across the length and breath of the region. Map Middle East 2011 aims at encouraging professionals representing different stakeholders of geospatial community to come together on a common platform and explore more on the advantages, challenges adhered with Regional Spatial Data Infrastructure and various domains adopting the various SDI policies.
