Nigeria - Delta State Okays Seven New Oil Pipelines - Commissioner

ALL AFRICA -  Delta State Ministry of Lands, Survey and Urban Development has approved the laying of seven new oil pipelines across the state. Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Urban Development, Mr Raymos Guanah, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Asaba that applications for the pipelines came from different oil companies. Guanah said in 2008, only three applications were received and approved by the ministry. He said the Delta State government earned N3.5 million from the seven applications received in 2009.
