ALL AFRICA - Trade in the East African region and its neighbours is headed for a major overhaul as plans to roll out an East African Community (EAC) Railway system reach advanced stages. The East African railway master plan will rejuvenate existing railways serving Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and extend them initially to Rwanda and Burundi and eventually to Southern Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and beyond.
