Renewed Efforts to Reinforce Geological, Mining Research

ALL AFRICA - The Institute of Geological &Mining Research (IRGM) held its board meeting yesterday. The Institute of Geological and Mining Research (IRGM) under the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation, has pledged to step up activities so as to reinforce geological and mining research in the country. The Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Dr Madeleine Tchuinté, who doubles as the board chair of the IRGM, made the commitment yesterday while chairing the institute's first ordinary session for 2010. The session was to evaluate the activities of 2009 and to come up with a plan of action as well as budget for the ongoing year. Read More
