Sidwell Selected by Keya Paha County, Nebraska

Once the conversion process is complete, Sidwell will then use its FARMS™ (Farmland Assessment and Report Management System) solution to provide soil calculations, land use calculations, and database linkages to all parcels to complete the assessment GIS and bring the County’s data into compliance. The resulting cadastral-based GIS is to be delivered to Keya Paha County via a new website which will be designed and hosted by Sidwell. The spatial data that will be featured on the site includes the new digital parcel data; the corresponding digital orthophotography; as well as a variety of parcel attribute data. Sidwell staff will provide consultation and training on the use of the website, which will allow County staff to perform queries, conduct property searches, and create and print reports on demand. With up-to-date parcel information in a centralized and accessible location, Keya Paha County will be able to efficiently share the data with end-users in County offices as well as the general public.

This marks the 25th county in 2009 that Sidwell has assisted in moving from paper records to an ESRI GIS-based land records management system.
