Public Transport Authority Adopts Mincom’s Next-Generation Solution for Enterprise Asset Management

Mincom announced a significant new contract with the Public Transport Authority (PTA) of Western Australia. Under the agreement, Mincom will support a substantial upgrade of the asset-management processes of the PTA, which provides integrated road, rail and ferry services in the greater metropolitan area of Perth (the State capital), as well as rail and coach services throughout regional Western Australia. By upgrading to Mincom Ellipse 8, one of the industry’s most modern, mobile-enabled Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for asset-intensive businesses, the PTA can optimize its asset-management processes, which will help to minimize asset failures and improve productivity.
