Welsh Government Win AGI Innovation Award

“It is excellent to see the team at the Welsh Government win the innovation award” says Stuart Massey, Account Manager, who attended the awards ceremony. “It is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the successful implementation of leading edge geospatial technologies. It is exciting to see innovative solutions delivering tangible government cost savings.” Envitia supply the Welsh Government with technology based on open standards to create a set of “plug and play” services. The underlying web services provide a framework to allow the rapid construction of spatial applications both inside and outside the organisation. The Welsh Government has stated that the Corporate GIS has generated significant efficiencies in the first year.
