Gemalto Acquires M2M Service Delivery Platform Provider SensorLogic

The SensorLogic “platform as a service” approach allows enterprises, mobile network operators, system integrators and service providers to bring services to market at a fraction of the cost of a traditional in-house development. By adding a well recognized application development platform to the Cinterion market leading range of M2M modules, MIM cards and MIM management capabilities, and Over-The-Air device management and security solutions, Gemalto has created a globally unique offering for M2M.
 
Commenting on the transaction, Oliver Piou, Gemalto Chief Executive Officer noted: “With M2M, we continue to replicate our successful business model.
