GGP Systems Appoints Peter Roper as Senior Consultant

Government sectors having held senior positions with COLT Telecommunications,
MoD Defence Estates plus a number of Local Authorities.
Peter Roper will join an existing team of Consultants providing valuable
procurement, project management and implementation experience and expertise.
Working closely with both current and potential users Peter will review existing
IT infrastructure, data holdings and working practices, identify
opportunities to maximise potential and achieve greater returns on investment.
“Peter brings valuable expertise from the user side of our core market;
Local Government, as well as increasingly important sectors such as
telecommunications, utilities and central government,” commented Tim Maxwell, founder and
Managing Director of GGP Systems. “He is a respected professional with a
proven track record delivering a range of projects including PAI, software
implementation and data management.”

GGP Systems specialise in GIS and Gazetteer Management software specifically
designed for the UK public sector. The South London based company provides
easy to use solutions for the creation and management of corporate property
databases, the ability to add and use a spatial element to all location based
information and a range of solutions to meet t-Government directives.
