Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software Unveils Latest Version of Customer Data Quality Platform

The CDQ Platform enables organisations to ensure the quality of enterprise data, reducing data management costs and providing valuable customer insight that drives more intelligent business decisions and profitable growth.

According to Gartner research, the volume of enterprise data doubles every 18 months, making it increasingly difficult to create a single, 360-degree view of each customer. The CDQ Platform provides support for data governance through profiling and monitoring, access to enterprise data in a federated approach, cleansing, validation, deterministic and probabilistic matching, consolidation and geospatial enrichment.

The single integrated platform is delivered via a service-oriented architecture (SOA) in real-time, batch or SaaS. The technology enables organisations to unify enterprise data, eliminate redundancies and expand overall customer knowledge. This provides the insight required to enhance customer loyalty and increase sales while reducing operational costs associated with poor quality data.

“For any kind of organisation, harnessing customer data has become a critical component for growth and eventual success,” said Navin Sharma, Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software’s director of product management.

“With an enhanced Open Parser, expanded geocoding coverage and data governance tools, our newest version of the CDQ Platform enables organisations to ensure the quality of enterprise data across the globe. Having the most accurate and timely enterprise data drastically improves market and customer analysis, helping businesses to make better decisions about new products, competitive threats and expansion plans.”

New features in the CDQ Platform v5.6 include:
  • Open Parser — Multi-domain, culture and language specific or agnostic grammar gives users full control, visibility and insight into modifying and defining patterns to enhance and automate data cleansing of unstructured and mismatched content and metadata specific to their business requirements.
  • Data Governance — Organisations now have a data governance suite that includes profiling, alerts and rules management, enabling users to automate processes and more intelligently monitor, control and communicate the quality of enterprise data.
  • Enhanced Platform Support — Enables access to remote or hosted services as part of locally designed and deployed composite data flows, providing agility to integrate value-add services for increased ROI. In addition, data quality connectors for mySAP CRM 2007 and Siebel Business and Industry 8.0 enhance value of data inside existing investments.
