Safe Software Named Recipient of Oracle 2009 Spatial Excellence Partnership Award

The award highlights Safe Software's strong partnership with Oracle and their contributions to the Oracle Spatial community, demonstrated by their consistent support for Oracle Spatial technologies and early adoption of new features such as raster and 3D. Because of this partnership, organizations experience seamless access to the spatial data they want to work with, easily bringing data in and out of Oracle Spatial through the ETL capabilities of Safe's FME® platform. With their spatial data aggregated into Oracle from various sources, users are able to apply Oracle software to get the most accurate and up-to-date information from their business systems.

"Safe Software is honored to be recognized by Oracle for its Spatial Excellence Partnership Award," said Don Murray, President of Safe Software. "Safe and Oracle's combined solutions ensure that spatial data can be integrated and centralized for storage, and then accessed and used in whatever capacity is needed."

Using Safe Software's FME platform, organizations can bring data from CAD, GIS, raster, 3D and BIM formats into Oracle Database for centralized management, and simultaneously restructure it into the data model that they require. They can also export data stored in Oracle Spatial to over 225 formats for use in external applications.
