RMSI Announces Completion of Largest Ever Land Folio Data Capture Project in Ireland

“This was a complex, yet exciting project incorporating country-wide data, involving both PRA and RMSI teams, located geographically apart and still working in close co-ordination. This co-ordination was further enhanced by web based online query management system developed for the project which helped both RMSI and PRA in quick resolution of queries and keeping a track of personally resolved issues. In addition to completing the project before time, under-budget and exceeding stipulated quality standards, RMSI also refined PRA database. RMSI linked around 22,000 mappable burdens (right of ways, pipelines, wells, etc.) with their textual information on the folio.”

Welcoming the successful completion of the project, Catherine Treacy, Chief Executive of the PRA said: "We are delighted to have worked with RMSI on this important project. Delivery of very high quality data was paramount at all times and, I’m pleased to say, RMSI met our requirements at all stages. This conversion programme has now provided the PRA with a complete database of property ownership records in Ireland which will enable us to develop and deliver the next generation of online services for our customers". It is also worth mentioning that RMSI has delivered this project in a record time of less than 22 months, two months ahead of schedule.
