Fredrik Reinfeldt to Host Presidency Conference on Climate and Jobs

The conference is being organised by the Swedish EU Presidency with representatives of industry and the trade union movement, among others. Participants include Margot Wallström, Vice-President of the European Commission, Signhild Arnegård-Hansen of Business Europe and Vanja Lundby-Wedin of the European Trade Union Confederation, ETUC.

Fredrik Reinfeldt will address the conference on the opportunities that an ambitious climate policy can bring and the importance of reaching an international climate change agreement in Copenhagen in December 2009.

The conference is taking place in connection with a guest performance in Brussels by the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, who are giving a number of concerts taken from this year's Baltic Sea Festival.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium will also attend the conference and the concert.
