The TK6000 is built tough to meet the unique needs of the mobile worker. It features an ergonomic, lightweight magnesium case that withstands multiple 5 foot drops to concrete. It is waterproof and dustproof (IP67), and operates in extreme temperatures. The thin profile, large color coded keys, and highly visible display make the TK6000 easy to use throughout a long work day. When equipped with two batteries, the TK6000 operates for up to 32 hours.
The ultra-rugged TK6000 serves enterprise mobility needs running Windows Mobile 6.1 for seamless, secure interface between the field and office. The powerful Windows Mobile operating system runs off-the-shelf mobile applications plus custom applications created using standard development tools. The TK6000 is powered by the Marvel PXA270 running at 624MHz with 128 MB RAM and 1 GB of internal data storage. A user accessible microSD/SDHC slot is available for additional data storage.
The TK6000 offers a wide range of connectivity to computers and peripheral devices. The TK6000 is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth® wireless technology. The optional 2.5G GSM cellular data modem expansion pack allows remote connection to and from the field. Two RS-232 9 pin serial ports, a full size USB host, and mini USB client enable direct connection to sensors, computers, and data storage devices.
The innovative TK6000 expansion pack adds functionality without compromising ruggedness. Simply attach the pack to integrate specialized sensors or communication devices. The expansion pack can be customized to house special signal conditioning circuitry, communications circuitry, and sensor interfaces to meet specific market needs.
