InVision FM offers a set of capabilities for managing and integrating information related to facilities management and portfolio performance by answering critical ‘where’ questions about a facility, campus or portfolio. InVision FM℠ provides facility managers with simple and intuitive tools to quickly find the things they care about across the campus or portfolio and then maintain information related to those things through the map-based web client. The ability to visualize and report on this information across the portfolio allows managers to increase occupancy rates, reduce fragmentation, and make their maintenance work force more efficient. With rich spatial information about their building interiors and the ability to integrate with a variety of facility management applications - IWMS, CAFM, EAM and ERP - managers can make optimal tactical and strategic decisions at each stage of the facility life cycle.
InVision Secure is a solution to the common public safety and security concerns of proximity to risk, access control, evacuation routing, and scenario planning, as well as global crisis management, for the entire public safety and security life cycle. InVision Secure also supports inspection and assessment workflows for compliance and preparedness. By using GIS to bring buildings into the common operational picture, InVision Secure℠ exposes facility assets from a global perspective down to the room level to reveal critical infrastructure and allow for the best tactical response necessary to save lives or mitigate risk.
“Our InVision products are the result of many years of work in building Facilities GIS solutions for a wide range of customers. By consolidating that experience into a set of off-the-shelf products, we hope to enable a new set of customers to get started in realizing the power of Facilities GIS very quickly without the time and expense involved in building and maintaining a custom solution” says Stu Rich, Chief Technology Officer of PenBay Solutions.
Both of these products feature an intuitive, web-based interface that offers visualization of the complete facility portfolio. This interface can be customized, allowing customers to visualize valuable building information, such as energy usage, maintenance records, occupancy, emergency routes and safety inspection data in a map format. The platform is designed to integrate with other applications and data sources within the enterprise, making it a complementary technology to existing enterprise systems. Based on Esri’s ArcGIS Server 10, the unique interface applies the power of GIS to the built environment for valuable insight into facility and public safety management.
