Leica GeoMoS Web: Visualizing Real Time Monitoring Data via Internet

With the new launched Leica GeoMoS Web, Leica Geosystems now for the first time presents a web based service for visualization and analysis of monitoring. Each authorized user, including customers and partners, can access the monitoring project anywhere and anytime – just using a web browser, pocket pc or mobile phone.

Press Release

Leica GeoMoS Web service is an easy to use application software that makes monitoring data accessible through standard web browsers. The graphs and views that are presented are customizable and can be tailored to the needs of each project.

Customized and highly flexible

Multiple monitoring projects or sites can be included in GeoMoS Web, providing a single portal to all monitoring data. Access rights can be set individually so that only authorized personnel can view sensitive data. Simple configuration tools bring the data to the web with clear, fully personalized site maps, status views and graphs. Interactive graphics allow to quickly get an overview of the monitoring data, make detailed analysis and to notify responsible people when movements exceed set tolerances.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

The Leica GeoMoS Web service is Software as a Service (SaaS). That means Leica GeoMoS Web is an on demand service that allows the use of the web based application to display monitoring data. The service is operated by Leica Geosystems, and a dedicated team of Leica Geosystems experts keep the system online, up to date and secure – and the user can concentrate on the important things: the monitoring of the structure.

The hardware is hosted in Leica Geosystems, and therefore there is no need to acquire dedicated hardware or maintain infrastructure and software. New features are immediately available without any installation procedures on customer site. And it guarantees security: Leica GeoMoS Web supports highly secure https and SSL encryption for secure data transfer over the Internet
