Training - Building Environmental Monitoring Systems with SensorSA

On February 11-th and 12-th 2009, SANY IP team will organise a hands-on training on “Building Environmental Monitoring Systems with SensorSA”.
SensorSA training starts with introduction and explaining the relations between SensorSA, OGC SWE, GMES and INSPIRE.
Remaining program concentrates on deploying, configuring and using the SensorSA software: SensorSA catalogue, security proxy, Cascading SOS, SensorSA Data Acquisition System, import/export scripts and various client applications. Training participants are expected to bring solid technical background, at least basic knowledge of OGC Sensor Web Enablement, good will, and a notebook with pre-installed Virtual Box software.

Training is organised by Austrian Research Centres GmbH. - ARC on behalf of the SANY consortium, with participation of the EIG, ETHZ, IITB and UBA. The training facilities are kindly provided by Austria's national weather service agency (ZAMG).

This event is founded by the Information Society and Media DG of the European Commission within the RTD activities of the Thematic Priority Information Society Technologies, and therefore free of charge for all participants within a limit of available places.
