This summer saw a record-breaking loss of arctic sea ice. A story in today’s New York Times outlines the trouble in Greenland and is accompanied by a multimedia slideshow and a map-based demonstration with time slider to show the dramatic changes that are taking place. The interactive map also shows atmospheric pressure, air temperature, cloud cover and solar heating.
