The ambitious work to develop a Geospatial Data management System (GDMS) to Ordnance Survey is now at a close with Intergraph successfully delivering a solution that is now in production mode alongside partners 1Spatial and Snowflake Software. The ongoing work that began in 2007 includes the management of more than 440 million individual features, and updates to more than 1 million feature changes per year for the world’s most detailed mapping agency. The system supports the work of 600 staff, and 5,000 updates per day.
