Iridium Offers Satellites as Earth Observation Platforms

000318iridium.jpgAccording to Science magazine, the satellite communications company Iridium is offering space to researchers to do earth observations on its next-generation fleet of 66 satellites. The asking price of $1.6 Billion might be too steep to garner any takers.
