Many Models Needed

Scientists have come to realize that science and modeling will need to evolve in order to tackle global warming. The vice president of the University Corporation of Atmospheric Research spoke yesterday at the American Geophysical Union fall meeting about the need for better modeling at a more granular scale.

“We’re going to need both global-scale models as well as regional-scale models to look at very specific processes that are happening in those regions.”
