Gaining a global understanding of human impact on the planet is a growing interest, and it’s a central mission of the global education organization Globaïa. The organization has pulled together compelling maps that illustrate global impacts and ongoing change, with the aim to better understand human impacts, and the environmental issues of our time.
Below is a quick video teaser of the types of maps of the Anthropocene, or the new era of human-domination. By mapping the human footprint on the land, their hope is to show the limits of our world, to start a dialogue on redefining how we live in and on it.
