New Urbanism: Spatial fixes to social challenges

New urbanism tackles a number of social ills such as affordable housing, public health, water scarcity, and even climate change by reducing our carbon footprint. It’s been amazing how these once-radical ideas of reworked urban areas have been embraced from the local all the way to the federal level. With apparent victory at hand, the founders of the movement are far from pleased.
