Open Source Visualization Tool for Planners

OrbisRT Halifax VisualizationI just ran across an interesting software tool that promises real-time visualization tools to explore development alternatives. The software imports GIS, CAD and Google Sketchup data to view design alternatives.

I’m particularly impressed that it’s designed on OpenGL and OpenSceneGraph and is planned to be released as free and Open Source software.
