The publication focuses on the latest news, events and topics of interest to those that are involved in developing and operating SDI efforts from local to regional to global scales. SDI covers the technologies, policies and institutional agreements that make geospatial data available and accessible for multiple applications. Among the target organizations are local and regional government, agriculture, forestry, health and medicine, population and demographics, meteorology and climate change, urban planning and land use, coastal, oceanography and marine, transportation, utilities, environment, and natural sciences.
