The South Dakota Board of Regents has just approved a minor in geospatial technology for both the University of South Dakota and the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. The new minor will be available in the fall as an 18 credit-hour minor for those majoring in geology, computer science, math or engineering. The minor provides training in GIS, GPS and remote sensing.
