The New York Times has announced their plans to cover tomorrow’s elections with Times Mobile carrying live results of the presidential, congressional and gubernatorial races. The map on the mobile site will update regularly with county-level maps with live results. They are also offering text message alerts customized by zip code that will deliver as news becomes available.
To sign up for breaking news alerts, send the word “NEWSALERTS” to 698698. To sign up for text message updates customized to a particular zip code, send “ELECTIONS [ZIP CODE]” to 698698 (e.g., ELECTIONS 12345). Note: users can sign up for multiple zip codes.
